The exhibition features a curated selection of vintage showpieces from Douglas Gunn, co-owner of The Vintage Showroom in London. This event will also unveil workwear-inspired outfits by eight local designers, celebrating the diverse professions of Hong Kong from the 1920s to the 1980s.
In addition, emerging talents, including young designers and design students, will present their own interpretations of workwear, enriching the exhibition with fresh perspectives.
This exhibition invites visitors to explore the fascinating history of workwear while challenging conventional definitions, all while emphasising themes of sustainability and innovation in design.
